Can you give me ideas for a cute ski outfit? I've never been skiing and NEED HELP! PLEASE!?

I'm 25, 5'7 and 130 lbs. I've NEVER been skiing and I want to look fashionable and cute. I've got a BEBE black puffy ski jacket and black knee-high furry boots. What can I wear with these 2 and still keep warm? Some type of warm legging? Tell me where I can buy these items too. PLEASE HELP!

wow...you are more concerned about how you will look than finding out about the ski school you should take so you don't hurt not only yourself, but the others around you??

Please tell me where you live so I can avoid the hill you will be going to??

Go to a place that sells skis, %26amp; you will find clothes that will be WATERPROOF, %26amp; WARM...two things a LITTLE more important than "cute". Oh, and the furry boots will be in your locker...you need to wear ski boots that fit onto the skis, in order to ski.

But, you sound more like the little bunnies who just sit in the bar at the ski hill %26amp; flirt with the instructors.
Reply:u can wear some tight black pants inside your boots and a black shirt dat have the layer like right below you breast n your chest is exposed n you can put a white cami under it

  1. what the hell kind of response is this? perhaps she already looked up the shit, and wanted to know if there were cute alternatives to the big ass bulky dyke ass clothing that they have for women who ski. there is nothing wrong with wanting to have fun, be warm, AND look fashionable doing so.

to the original poster -- if you even need this or some female that happens upon here looking for the same alternative... if you are skiing at a resort & don't want to invest in ski pants which cost an arm & a leg, there are good alternatives.

1.) get a nice pair of thermals for a base layer. you don't need to spend a lot on these, but make sure they are made specifically for cold weather versus the thermal pajama pants and such.

2.) i would then throw on a pair of leggings over that. we all have them by now given their popularity.

3.) head over to nike.com or any other sporting goods store to find a pair of tights that are made for cold weather specifically. they will have words like insulated and wicking. this will help trap your body heat in and pull the moisture should you begin to sweat out. you may want to go up a size so you can comfortably stretch them over your layers.

4.) finally, make sure you layer for your tops. they have cowlneck thermals which add a bit of fashionable flair. you can also put on a tank top under that, and another sweater or fleece jacket on top of those two layers. your jacket should be warm and waterproof -- try and insulated shell by northface, columbia or any of those types.

5.) lastly and most obvious, get a nice pair of gloves. ones that are likewise waterproof, a cute hat, and a cute scarf. you're all set.

** if you HAVE the money to spare and you plan to ski rather frequently, you may want to invest in a pair of ski pants. THEY ARE NOT CHEAP. and the ones that look better and are fitted instead of looking like a huge pair of dusty garbage pants made for a butch lesbian, are going to run you at least 120+. i believe there are an incredibly cute pair of pants made by oakley (not sure on the brand on this, i forget!!) called 'bond' pants that are fabulous. however they cost 439 bucks.

maybe we should write a petition to these designers to tell them to make something less horrific for those of us who are fashionably inclined AND sporty.
